John Frieda, who? If you want to receive the best style in town you need to go see Michael Scott Baker at Illusions Hair Studio. This man is the best. Seriously. Not only is he kind and hilarious he has such gentle hands (which is nice because my hair and scalp appreciate it). He really takes the time to give you the look you want. Not only that, he has a very handy dandy filing system so, when I forget what my favorite hair color was all he has to do is look up my name and he has it stored. Now, let me just say...my mother-in-law is also a hair stylist (has been for over 20 years) we don't live in the same town but, when I see her she always compliments my hair and she's an expert so, she knows what's up. Let me finish by saying, there's nothing like a good stylist to boost your confidence and every time I see Michael I feel beautiful. Don't take my word for it, go see Michael and see for yourself. You will not regret it.

I've seen Michael for a number of years for my haircuts and have always been 100% happy with the service, price and interior of the salon. It's bright, fresh and very cool looking inside. I've even gone as far as recommending him and the salon to other close friends who have now changed salons and only go to see him. In terms of price and customer service, I think this is one of the best places in ABQ.
